The gameplay of Soul Hackers 2 is fairly similar to other Shin Megami Tensei entries in that it is turn-based but with a stylistic choice that follows what was first heavily popularized by Persona 5. Alongside a group of Devil Summoners and armed with the mysterious Soul Hack, Ringo must explore and traverse the dizzying landscapes of a futuristic, cyberpunk Japan.

The game follows Ringo, an agent of Aion, as she is created solely for a single task: to prevent the onset of a world-ending disaster. While it has been somewhat overshadowed now as Persona fever took place, it still has a grand following, leading to the creation and development of Soul Hackers 2.

Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers has reached cult-like status within the Shin Megami Tensei community, with many fans regarding it as one of the most underrated SMT games in the franchise’s large portfolio. Soul Hackers 2 is a direct sequel to Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, and is the fifth overall entry to the Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner games. To celebrate the nearing release, SEGA unveiled a new English-dubbed trailer for PlayStation called “Twisted Fates,” and you can check it out for yourself below. I guess whatever is server based you can't edit, but stuff like health and ammo which is client side should be fine to tinker around with.In just a couple of weeks, publisher SEGA and developer ATLUS will finally release Soul Hackers 2 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. When I restarted the game last night the values sticked but I logged in today and the values got reverted back to normal. Can you detail your process? I can't even attach the debugger to the game, it crashes it. I have no idea how you got your coins to stick. It seems all edits in the tower work, but revert once hitting the lobby. I gave my Fireworks 50 shots and it kept shooting past the limit. Reverted almost instantly.Įdit 2: Changing ammo worked fine.

I found a single 8 bit value and it was the same address as the 4 bit. Maybe the 8 bit values will do the trick.Įdit: Nope, still no good. Every time though, it changes back after hitting the lobby. I found 3 values for 4 bit in the lobby for my bank and a different 3 in the tower with 4 bit for my held coins. I just set them all to the amount I wanted and it stayed for the play session, even after I restarted the game. I used 8 Byte to search for the Gold and it came up as three different values. It stuck, more coins got added and it all went into my bank after I went back to the lobby. Instead of changing the banked coins, I changed the amount I found in the tower. The changed coins worked until I hit the lobby. I'll try editing in the tower next.Įdit 3: Nope.
Let it die pc hackers update#
If you lock it, it will look like it doesn't go down, but it will update to the lower amount before long. I'll see what I can find.Įdit 2: Well I can confirm, it looks like the coin change is visual only. Not sure if there is a way around that or not.Įdit: I just got home and I'm installing it. Since the game is always connected to their server, it may do checks and reset the values. Hey, I tried to edit the gold with CE but it jumps back the original value every time I do it. If someone can figure out the XP values outside of the screen it would be a good help too.ĭurability, Gold, and Ammo definitely seem easy and possible, but the Health and XP seem to be a little tricky. I wasn't banned I guess the game just can't handle editing the XP values during level up. I couldn't figure out the health part and as for XP if you edit it during the Level Up screen it sends you back to the main menu.
Let it die pc hackers plus#
I was able to edit the ammo you have on a weapon plus the amount of gold you have via CE.
